General
Terms:
- Les Baer Custom,
Inc. reserves the right to update product at any time.
- All custom pistols
and rifles require a 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit.
- The order date
becomes effective when the required deposit has been received.
- We will not work
on any firearm which has prviously been worked on by other gunsmiths.
- Our delivery times
are estimated at the time of the order. We will always try to hold our
estimated delivery times. Under no circumstances will we rush any order
just to get it out of the
shop. The quality of our custom pistols and rifles will not be compromised.
- All of our custom
pistols and rifles include the Federal Exise Tax.
- On all custom
pistols andrifles we want your 100% satisfaction. As long as customer
abuse has not
created a problem, we will probably repair your custom pistol or rifle
free of charge. If you have a
problem, it’s usually ammunition related and we can help you over
the phone with any concerns
you might have. If you have questions, please feel free to call during
office hours.
- 100% satisfaction
is always our goal. This does not cover any gunsmithing or modifications
done by anyone outside our company .NO EXCEPTIONS!
- Payments made
by certified check or cashiers check can be shipped on same day received.
Personal checks require ten days to clear, unless prior arrangements
have been made.
- All C.O.D. orders
require payment by Certified Check unless prior arrangements have been
made.
- We accept Mastercard
and Visa
- Shipping costs
are not included in our pricing.
Policies
On Parts Sales:
- No returns will
be allowed if the product has been altered in any way!
- No returns for
credit after thirty days from invoice date.
- On all returns,
no credit will be granted for shipping charges or surcharges.
- A 20% restocking
fee will be charged on all returned merchandise.
- Absolutely no
exceptions to above stipulations!
Note: The Magnuson-Moss
Act (Public Law 93-637) does not require any seller or manufacturer to
give a written warranty. It does provide that if a written warranty is
given, it must be designated as “limited” or as “full”
and sets minimum standards for a “full” warranty. Les Baer Custom,
Inc. has elected not to provide any written warranty, either “limited”
or “full”, rather than attempt to comply with the provisions
of the Magnuson-Moss Act and the regulations issued thereunder. There
are certain implied warranties under state law with respect to sales of
consumer goods. As the extent and interpretation of these implied warranties
varies from state to state, you should refer to your state statutes. Les
Baer Custom, Inc. wishes to assure its customers of its continued interest
in providing service to owners of Baer Custom firearms.

Certain models of Custom 1911 Pistols customers often request what we call
the Tactical Package. This is slightly rounding of all edges on the pistols
to have the snag free effect. Certain models have this included. Refer to
current catalog description on models. If this Tactical Package is requested,
this can be done for the following pricing. $ 70.00
Note: Many customers request 1-1/2” groups at 50 yds. on many pistols.
This request can only be done on 5” & 6” steel models (refer
to current catalog). The 1-1/2” request adds the following to the price.
